Mode of action
By providing an extensive range of herbal ingredients, plus antioxidants and L-Histidine, this formula provides a broad-spectrum approach without the problem of drowsiness and other side-effects often seen with other more potent remedies.
Purpose/Usage
In most instances, hayfever is the result of exposure to allergens that affect the nasal and breathing passages, resulting in the release of histamine and other compounds which cause cell damage, the release of cell fluids and inflammation and swelling that leads to congestion, and difficulty in breathing. In these situations the sinuses may also become congested, resulting in pain and discomfort.The use of Horseradish, Garlic and Marshmallow have become a standard treatment for hayfever, and this formula offers an advance through the inclusion of the amino acid L-Histidine in combination with the antioxidant effects of Grapeseed and Vitamin C to help reduce the localised inflammation and swelling, that are a feature of hayfever. Echinacea supports the immune system, reducing the response to allergens while Marshmallow, Fenugreek and Mullein help to soothe inflamed membranes and together with Thyme provide temporary relief of sore throats.
