Perilla frutescens has been used by traditional herbalists in Asia for centuries to help manage hayfever and allergy symptoms and coughs and colds, and helping to reduce the incidence of influenza, and other conditions.
Coleus forskohlii is an Ayurvedic herb used in India to help promote healthy circulation and lessen symptoms of respiratory allergies caused by autoimmune responses. The active principle forskolin helps to maintain levels of Cyclic AMP (Adenosine Monophosphate) which may be reduced in some allergic conditions and respiratory problems.
Both Perilla and Coleus have been clinically proven in the management of hayfever and allergy symptoms.
Magnesium is known as the 'action mineral' as a co-factor and 'trigger' in many of the enzyme systems responsible for energy, fat metabolism, protein synthesis, neurotransmission, muscle activity and prostaglandin synthesis.
Magnesium relaxes bronchial smooth muscle and when combined with Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), benefits the symptoms of mild upper respiratory infections, muscle tension and cramps.
