Precautions
Not recommended during lactation, caution during pregnancy. Contraindicated for concurrent use with Warfarin, immunosuppressant drugs, HIV medications, Digoxin and chemotherapy drugs. Caution in concurrent use with Amitriptyline, oral antihistamines, benzodiazepines and simvastatin (Lipex). Avoid excess exposure to UV radiation (eg. Sunlight, tanning beds) when using St John’s wort. Discontinue use at least 3 days prior to general anaesthesia. Keep out of reach of children.
