Purpose/Usage
Evening Primrose Oil is a source of the essential fatty acids,
gamma linolenic acid and linoleic acid. It may help to support
regulate normal hormone function and no glandular activity.
It is also important in maintaining healthy cell structure.
Precautions
Please be aware that there is an ideal intake relationship of
Omega-3 and Omega-6 for humans. The optimum Omega-6 to Omega-3
ratio has been considered as 4:1 but recent literature suggests a ratio of
1:1 may be more beneficial. Omega-6 supplementation should be closely
monitored.
