Azep nasal spray contains azelastine hydrochloride which is an antihistamine that, in addition to its histamine H1-receptor-blocking activity, appears to inhibit the release of inflammatory mediators from mast cells.
Azep is used to treat Allergic Rhinitis, which is an allergic condition which may be seasonal (hayfever) or may result from external Allergens such as Cat and Dog hair or Dust Mites.
Azep is used topically to treat allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itchy, runny nose. It is also used to treat symptoms of nasal passage inflammation such as runny nose, stuffy nose, and postnasal drip.
Adults and children over 5 years: spray 1 puff into each nostril twice daily.
Azelostine hydrochloride 0.1% w/v Contains 70 doses.
Discard any unsed contents 6 months after opening. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist see your health professional.
