Multi-Gyn Active Gel is a gentle and effective gel to soothe and relieve intimate discomforts.
Multi-Gyn Active Gel’s formula is based on natural plant extracts. One of the key ingredients is the patented 2QR complex that blocks the adhesion of harmful bacteria and neutralises bacteria effectively.
Multi-Gyn Active Gel’s pH of 4.1 is adjusted to the natural vaginal pH (3.8 – 4.5).
The unique formula supports the natural repair system and restores the pH balance. The lactobacilli are stimulated in their development and the gel aids an optimal and natural vaginal flora to be re-installed that prevents vaginal irritations.

Indication Dose and Administration
Bacterial Vaginosis Apply twice per day for a period of 5 days
Prevention of discharge, odour and related symptoms of Bacterial Vaginosis: Apply once every three days or more if necessary.
Vaginal discomforts such as itch, irritations, sensitivity, redness and soreness: Apply once per day or until relief is desired
Prevention of Thrush: Apply once every three days or more if necessary.

How To Prevent Vaginal Infections
Wear cotton underwear and loose fitting pants and skirts
Avoid pantyhose (wear thigh or knee high hosiery)
Do not use bubble bath or any perfumed creams or soaps
Avoid getting shampoo on the vulva area
Check for possible allergies such as perfumes, food etc. Such allergies can cause irritation
Take care that bacteria from the bowel does not enter the vagina; always wipe yourself from front to back
Use 100% cotton menstrual pads and tampons. Avoid panty liners. Change tampons and menstrual pads on a regular basis
Do not have sex when you are not well lubricated. Do not use lubricants with petrochemical related ingredients
If you suffer from thrush, a sugar free eating plan might be of help

Side effects. - Because Multi-Gyn ActiGel has an optimal vaginal acidity and sperm is alkaline, the use of Multi-Gyn ActiGel may reduce the activity of sperm. Therefore ActiGel should not be used in the hours directly after intercourse when there is a wish to become pregnant. There are no other known side effects.
Interference with medications - Multi-Gyn ActiGel does not interfere with medications.
Pregnancy and lactation - Multi-Gyn ActiGel can be used safely during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
